Bajo Cuatro

Tomas designed the Bajo Cuatro made with solid spruce or cedar top, solid maple or mahogany on the sides and back, ebony fingerboard as well as custom handcrafted bridge with nickel frets. Our nut and saddle are made of actual bone which helps the Bajo Cuatro to achieve the best possible tone. The Bajo Cuatro is custom handcrafted to perfection made with a solid spruce or Cedar top, solid Honduran mahogany or Flame Maple sides and back, rosewood fretboard, unique inlays and custom handmade traditional bridge with nickel frets. The Bajo’s are more traditional Bajo guitar that Tomas and family have been producing for more than 90 years.
Like all of Candelas Guitar's Bajo Sextos and Bajo Quintos and Bajo Cuatros, the nut and saddles are made of bone for the ultimate in pitch and tone. Pickguards are also available with these models.
